Elikon Hotel Athens

Elikon

Found approximately 25 minutes' walk from the ancient stone theater "Odeon of Herodes Atticus" in Omonoia, which draws daytime crowds to the Athens Central Market, where stalls are packed with olives, feta cheese, meat and fish, and simple food is available from street food stands and no-frills tavernas, the smoke-free Elikon Hotel Athens provides an archaeological museum. Featuring luggage storage, the 2-star hotel is located not far from Hellenic Motor Car Museum.

The centre of Athens can be reached within a 5-minute walk, and natural attractions like the scenic park "National Garden" are 2.2 km away. The Elikon Athens is a mere 5 minutes on foot from National Theatre of Greece and just 450 metres from Veaki Theater. This Athens hotel is also within a few blocks of Acropolis Hill. The hilltop temple monument "Acropolis Museum" is nearly 20 minutes' walk away, and Thissio train station is situated within reach of the accommodation. The nearest underground station is Omonoia, which is right around the corner from the Elikon.

Offering a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, the 23 rooms come with air conditioning to ensure a comfortable stay. Also, you will find an electric kettle and a fridge provided. The private bathrooms feature a separate toilet and a shower along with hair dryers and towels. Enjoy views of the city, while staying at the Elikon Athens.

The restaurant To Spitiko is merely 150 metres from the hotel.

The hotel was charming small and the staff cordial, ideal location in the centre of the city. Rooms with 2 single beds and a balcony and shower. There was a lot of food that was good.

Comfortable base for exploring Athens. There were compact, comfortable rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom too. The early check-in process too.
